For Christmas 2008, Carol has expanded her highly successful 2007 range with the addition of designs inspired by Christmas Tradition. It includes, Trees, Festive Geese, Doves, Flying Angels, Reindeer, Stars, Noel Hearts and elements of the Christmas Story contemporised in the simplest of design styles. For Christmas 2008, Carol has extended the range of gifts with the addition of cats, horses, cows, ducks, Scotties and chicken egg-cup boards – alongside the favourite Labradors, Homes and Fireside dogs. ABOUT CAROL RIDLER HANDCRAFTED WOOD

Carol Ridler Handcrafted Wood, produces wooden pieces for decoration and table, inspired by English country life and the seasons.

Worked from locally sourced reclaimed wood in the heart of the English countryside, the production of Handcrafted Wood products has an almost zero carbon footprint and socially responsible employment policy.

Hand made using only traditional methods, each piece is individually drawn, cut and finished. Available in two finishes, either rough hewn with a grain reflecting the natural texture of subjects or in stunning Farrow & Ball colours, all are more than at home in the smartest interiors.

The availability of all products is limited, giving the range a naturally exclusive and collectable appeal.

Carol Ridler Handcrafted Wood is a totally rural enterprise and was founded in 2006. Carol works from an old Victorian schoolroom in a farming village on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir on the Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire borders, accompanied by her faithful chocolate Labrador, Dougal.
